Full Description: Walkers will be spoilt for choice with the wide and varied range of doorstep walks available. For those who just want a relaxed stroll, or have a disability or young children, there are many local trails that are reasonably flat and yet still offer great views.

The local area is full of the most amazing walks, including numerous routes around the reservoirs of the Upper Derwent Valley. Away from the reservoirs one of our most famous local walks is to the top of Win Hill – this is an extremely popular and very rewarding walk, offering spectacular views of the valley.

Slightly further afield there are plenty of strenuous walks to choose from including the famous Pennine Way which begins at Edale. Guests are welcome to borrow our local walking guides.
